What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Websites can also store small amounts of information in your browser in other ways, such as "local storage". The rules are the same for both, so this policy covers both and calls them cookies.
Our approach
We only use cookies for two things: remembering your cookie choice, and, if you agree, Google Analytics. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't use social media plugins that track you. The social media icons on our site are ordinary links.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you're happy for us to use analytics cookies. Nothing from Google Analytics loads unless you click Accept. If you click Reject, or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set.

Analytics (only if you accept)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how people use our website, such as which pages are visited, how people found us and what type of device they used. This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Other services
Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. To deliver the fonts, Google's servers receive your IP address and browser details, but Google Fonts does not set cookies.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to fix problems.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time:
- Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page to reopen the banner. If you switch from Accept to Reject, we remove the Google Analytics cookies straight away.
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Your browser's help pages explain how.
- Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
